About Us

Trust Your Strength is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to creating awareness of the mental support needed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and making a difference for families in need. Studies have suggested an estimate of 70 percent of parents whose babies spend time in the NICU may grapple with symptoms of depression, yet there are not good screening measures in place to help them.

Our organization ensures every action contributes to easing the burden, improving outcomes for families navigating one of the most challenging times in their lives Through self-care events our focus is emotional, physical, and informational needs at the core of all planning and services.

We invest in parent education programs, peer-to-peer support groups, mental health professionals, and family liaisons who specialize in NICU support because these directly support the well-being of families during their NICU journey.

Trust Your Strength allocate funding to services like transportation assistance and housing support for out-of-town families. These resources directly impact NICU families and ease the stress and burden families face.

Trust Your Strength collaborates with other non-profits, hospitals, and employers to bridge the gap between NICU families and employment services. We aim to ensure that NICU-impacted adults are not overlooked in broader employment initiatives.
